How will I be notified of the driver's details before the trip?

We will contact you via LINE, WhatsApp, or WeChat at least one day before your trip. If we are unable to reach you through any of these methods, we will contact you by email. Please make sure to check your messages.

Do I need to pay for the driver's meal or tip?

You do not need to pay for the driver's meal separately. Tips are not included in the package fee. Tipping is not customary in Japan, but you may offer a tip at your discretion.

How many passengers can each car accommodate?

4-seater vehicle: Up to 5 people (including the driver).

6-seater vehicle: Up to 7 people (including the driver).

9-seater vehicle: Up to 10 people (including the driver).

* According to Japanese traffic regulations, 3 children under the age of 12 count as 2 passengers.
Example: For a group of 7 adults and 3 children (ages 4, 6, and 12), the 3 children will count as 2 passengers, so this group can use a 9-seater vehicle.

Can we eat or drink in the car?

As a general rule, only water is allowed in the vehicle. If you need to eat or drink, please ask the driver for permission first.

Do I need to pay for fuel?

Fuel costs are included in the tour fee — no need to worry.

How is the empty car fee charged for remote areas?

If your departure or drop-off location is Onna Village, there is an empty car fee of 1,000 yen (one-way).

If your departure or drop-off location is north of Nago, the empty car fee is 2,000 yen (one-way), which also helps cover expressway tolls for the driver.

How can I communicate with a Japanese-speaking driver?

Most drivers are equipped with a translation device, so simple communication will not be an issue. If you encounter any difficulties, please contact our charter service representative directly.

 

Do children need to use car seats?

According to Japanese traffic laws, children are not required to use car seats when riding in buses, taxis, or chartered vehicles.

Are there photos of the vehicles?

We provide sample images of the vehicles. Please note that the actual vehicle on the day may vary depending on the dispatch by the car company.

How many pieces of luggage can one vehicle hold?

Based on 28-inch suitcases as shown in the diagram:

4-seater vehicle: can hold 2 pieces of luggage

6-seater vehicle: can hold 4 pieces of luggage

9-seater vehicle: can hold 8 pieces of luggage

If one person is reduced, one extra piece of luggage can be added.

Please accurately fill in the number of suitcases when booking to help us arrange the appropriate vehicle.

If the luggage exceeds the vehicle’s capacity, guests will need to handle the transportation of excess luggage on their own.

► Cancellation Policy

• If the customer delays departure or ends the trip early for any reason, the fee will still be calculated based on the original booking duration, and no refund will be given.
• Same-day cancellations or cancellations made within 72 hours before the activity date will incur cancellation charges as per the following schedule:
• No-show without prior notice will incur a 100% cancellation fee. Any bank or transaction fees for refunds will be borne by the customer.
• Available vehicle types: 4-seater, 6-seater, 9-seater. Please select the vehicle type based on number of passengers and luggage.
• Please strictly adhere to the reserved time. In case of overtime, Japanese drivers will collect the overtime fee on-site.

The daily rate for up to 10 hours is 20,000 JPY per day (including meals).
Overtime is 3,000 JPY per hour. (Please inform customer service in advance.)

► Important Notes

• Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the vehicle.
• Please keep the vehicle clean. If there are any issues such as spilled drinks or vomiting, a cleaning fee of 2,000 to 10,000 JPY may be charged.
• The vehicle will be driven by a licensed Japanese driver. If you encounter any communication difficulties, please contact our office during business hours — our Chinese-speaking staff will assist with translation.
• Charter time starts from the reserved pick-up time. If the customer does not show up on time, the time will still be counted.
• In principle, the itinerary will be one-way without backtracking. If any changes to the itinerary or stop duration result in overtime, additional fees will apply and must be paid directly to the driver on the day.
• -Overtime charges: 4-seater: 2,000 JPY / per 0.5 hr, 5-6 seater: 2,500 JPY / per 0.5 hr,9-seater: 3,000 JPY / per 0.5 hr
• For services outside 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, an additional overtime fee of 2,000 JPY per hour will apply.
• If the customer chooses to end the trip early on the day of service, the fee will still be charged based on the original booking duration, and no refund will be provided.

► Legal Charter Operation

According to Japanese laws and regulations, all vehicles in legal operation are registered with green license plates. All authorized drivers must be officially registered Japanese drivers with at least 15 years of driving experience. Out of responsibility to our customers and to ensure your safety, we guarantee not to use any illegal or unlicensed vehicles under any circumstances.
